Ian’s physical gyrations were always so over the top. Amazing he didn’t hurt himself. But he was a great musician and songwriter. Hard to believe he’s actually a very straight, staid gentleman. Claims to have never even tried marijuana.

Perfect capture of the raw sound of a tight, young band - just as it was surely heard back then! I think even those of us who were around sometimes forget that production and audio quality of the time were not nearly that of today’s high-tech, mega-budget shows. Rock concerts 50+ years ago sounded about like they would if the band was playing in a small gymnasium with modest/budget equipment, only louder.

Love this song. I'm 73. Saw them at the Filmore East in 69, I believe. I listen to this song all the time. Unlike me, it never gets old. The Album this song is on, Stand Up, is one of my all time favorites. Ian is such a talented musician and song writer.

That was ５５ years ago. I was only 11 years old and this was and still is my fav Tull's song. Brings back many memories.

Where are the head banger rickers today that said it was never my brand of music but I caught onto Jethro Tull early and am happy the band is still with us .
